• Senior officials committed to establish "way forward" to maintain excellent relationship
  • The Director of EUMETSAT invited to the NPOESS Senior Users Advisory Group meetings
  • The Assistant Administrator for Satellite and Information Services invited to the EUMETSAT General Council meetings
• Exchange information
  • Increase understanding, provide formal/informal communication path
  • Minimize synchronization problems
• Initiate studies to address various technical issues
• EUMETSAT participation in NPOESS IORD-2 worldwide review
